Janet Castrejon
Janet Castrejon is the author of seven websites that combined get thousands of visitors every day. She is a teacher with a bachelor's degree in Spanish education and a minor in teaching English as a Second Language. Janet also has a master's degree in education (in Curriculum and Instruction) with an emphasis in Educational Technology. She holds a California teaching credential (in Spanish education and bilingual education), an authorization in Computer Concepts and Applications, as well as a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Professional Certificate.
Her online journey began when she lived in Puerto Rico. She created a website called inglesmundial.com with English lessons for Spanish-speakers. She created it primarily for her own English students but imagined that others on the web would enjoy it too. The website spread by word of mouth, and soon it was getting thousands of visitors a day. Later, she decided to branch out and create other sites. She loves teaching but also enjoys the creativity of creating websites.
